Internationella Torget

The International Square is part of the Göteborg Book Fair in Gothenburg, Sweden. It is a network of NGO's, publishers, trade unions, businesses and agencies working with international issues and development co-operation. Our goal is to spread qualified information about global development issues to the many visitors – from Sweden and elsewhere.

Many visitors attend the programs presented at our two stages. We are proud to have the worlds most interesting poets and authors as our guests. During the four days of the fair we present around about 170 sessions.

We of course host a number of stands and exhibits where the participating organizations offer information and activities; present pedagogical tools and traveling tips; sell books and arrange meetings and book signings with authors and other guests. The Square also features a big bookshop with books from all over the world.
